As a Grant Fundraiser for Back Off. Back Up., you will take the lead in researching and identifying suitable grant funding opportunities, contributing to the continued provision of essential support by crafting persuasive grant bids. Your role involves working closely with the Back Off. Back Up. team, ensuring eligibility for grant applications, meeting criteria, and adhering to policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify grant funding opportunities, aligning with the criteria set by Across Rainbows/Back Off. Back Up.
Collaborate with the Back Off. Back Up. team to tailor funding bids to meet application requirements and present a compelling case for support.
Monitor grant application deadlines, ensuring timely submission.
Foster and strengthen relationships with current and potential funders.
Track submitted funding bids and provide detailed reports on application outcomes.
Review and share feedback from both successful and unsuccessful applications to facilitate knowledge sharing.
Adhere to Across Rainbows policies and procedures while volunteering.
Time Commitment:
This voluntary role offers a flexible time commitment, with an ideal preference for individuals willing to dedicate time each week to ongoing research, application monitoring, and availability for developing and writing applications when funding opportunities arise.

Developed by the team at Across Rainbows, the BOBU movement arose in response to people feeling unsafe or anxious while out and about and having nowhere to turn. Back Off. Back Up. initiative addresses safety concerns in response to rising hate crimes, providing a crucial app for safer and more inclusive communities, particularly for the LGBTQ+ community.
