Small Charity Places
The Chartered Institute of Fundraising is providing free access to the recorded sessions from Fundraising Convention 2020, to support small charities.
These passes have been made available to help small charities, who are often on the frontline of the charity sector’s response to Covid-19, and who may be less able to pay to access training, develop excellent fundraising.
Small charities will be able to catch up on all the content from this year’s Fundraising Convention, with over 90 on-demand sessions from fundraising experts and charity sector peers – including a very special opening plenary from Sir Lenny Henry. There are a large number of sessions aimed directly at smaller organisations, including step-by-step guides to setting up new fundraising streams from scratch, and how to get everyone in the organisation, including trustees, involved in fundraising.

EDI Bursaries
Bursaries available for Fundraising Convention 2020 On-Demand
Held online for the first time, this year’s Fundraising Convention brought together fundraisers from across the UK for a range of presentations and discussion panels, as well as a very special opening plenary from Sir Lenny Henry. All sessions across the three days were recorded, and ticketholders will be able to watch them on-demand until the end of the year.
The Diversity Access Fund has been set up to encourage and enable a wider group of fundraisers to develop their practice, by providing free access to all recorded sessions from the event.
We encourage you to apply for the Diversity Access Fund if you identify as one or more of the following:
- Disabled fundraisers,
- Fundraisers who self-identify as Black, Asian or from a Minoritised Ethnic background,
- LGBT+ (anyone who self-identifies under the LGBT+ umbrella, for example as lesbian, gay, bi and/or trans) fundraisers.
