Overview of Consortium
Consortium is a national specialist infrastructure and membership organisation. We work to strengthen and support LGBT+ (Lesbian, Gay Bisexual and Transgender) groups, organisations, and projects so that they can deliver direct services and campaign for individual rights. Through our membership of 500+ organisations and community groups from across the UK we bring together the largest network of LGBT+ groups in the UK, who in turn support over 5 million LGBT+ people and their families.

Corporate Supporters' Network (CSN)
The Corporate Supporters’ Network aims to bridge the gap between our community/voluntary members and our corporate supporters. We are keen to support dialogue and work with our members to create inter-organisational networks of support. This network also offers the opportunity for LGBT individuals working in corporate organisations to build community with each other.

Potential Networks for Corporate Supporters
The network will run meetings 4 times a year, bringing corporate supporters together to share ideas and insights, discuss challenges and establish best practice in their own approaches to creating supportive businesses and working with external LGBT+ groups. It will create a regular dialogue between the Consortium, our community/voluntary members and the Corporate Supporters’ Network, with opportunities for panels, Q&A discussions and speed-networking.
Resources for Network Members
We offer a range of resources to our community and voluntary members, including information on setting up networks, inclusion, safeguarding and collaboration, as well as research and impact data which can be used to support development and collaboration work with an LGBT+ focus. By joining our Corporate Supporters’ Network, you are free to request access to resources to support your own activities, for example in creating internal LGBT+ networks or in volunteering to support the wider community. Consulting on your Online Presence
We will also offer opportunities for a consultation to evaluate how your organisation demonstrates support for LGBT+ individuals through websites/social media. This guidance will provide you with overall best practices as well as websites and social media channels that have been identified as strong examples.
Events (virtual and F2F)
Corporate supporters will be invited to Consortium events, both online and in person, creating opportunities to network with voluntary and community members, and other corporate supporters. For example, invitations to attend and be represented at ad hoc events such as film screenings, networking and Pride events, and panel discussions in collaboration with community and voluntary members.
Other Opportunities
We are also happy to discuss additional opportunities as appropriate. As an infrastructure body, we have a wealth of experience in working collaboratively, and we are keen to bring that spirit of partnership and innovation to the Corporate Supporters’ Network. In joining the network, you will have a named contact at Consortium who will be happy to work with you on any other opportunities or queries you may have as members.
