African Equality Foundation Expand

£5400 was awarded to African Equality Foundation for asylum/refugee support meetings and a Project Co-ordinator.

Birmingham LGBT Expand

£8864 was awarded to enable the continuation of Birmingham LGBTs counselling service to help meet the needs and support of LGBT people during Covid-19.

 

 

Curious Arts Limited Expand

£4550, for a digital space for LGBTQ+ young people in the NE, where they can take part in creative activities and reduce social isolation.

Diversity Role Models Expand

£9773 towards core costs, enabling development and delivery of digital versions of the charity’s schools workshops, about challenging HBT bullying in schools.

Equality Network Expand

£11744 was awarded for a Community Development Officer post who will support LGBTI groups and organisations in Scotland during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gendered Intelligence Expand

£8000 was awarded to help with additional staff capacity within the Youth and Communiities team, to support greater numbers of trans, non binary and gender diverse young people.

Just Like Us Expand

£9798 was awarded for an ambassador programme, which recruits, trains and supports LGBT+ young people aged 18-25 to raise awareness of LGBT+ issues.

Leicester LGBT Centre Expand

£10000 was awarded for towards core work to help with the costs of delivering additional support sessions for LGBT+ people during the coronavirus pandemic.

Mermaids Expand

£10000 was awarded to Mermaids to help with the production of a series of 12 podcasts, focusing on issues faced by trans children and young people.

New Family Social Expand

An award of £5250 to help adapt for online delivery a series of courses focused around adoption and fostering, in relation to LGBT+ issues.

Outspoken Arts Scotland Limited Expand

£4800 for creative skills workshops to support LGBT+ young people’s employment prospects and health and wellbeing.

Proud 2 B Parents Expand

£7000 was awarded towards digital support to LGBT+ families, and for the additional precautions needed for resuming physical meetings in the future.

Saltire Thistle FC Expand

Funding of £2000, to increase weekly sessions to accommodate the 40 people who regularly play football at Saltire Thistle FC, and provide extra equipment.

Support U Ltd Expand

£9500 was awarded towards two front line officer posts, providing additional helpline cover, wellbeing sessions, and various other duties.

£4000 was awarded for a series of health-focused empowerment workshops for trans and non binary people.

£5000 was awarded for young LGBT+ people who are homeless, to enable them to buy essentials, such as food vouchers, mobiles and also to help them to access emergency accommodation.

 

Black Beetle Health Expand

Awarded £13510, for continuation of a digital health awareness programme for LGBTQ+ people of colour, supporting people and communities facing challenges due to the impact of covid.

Deaf Rainbow UK Expand

Awarded £4,550 for activities to maintain community contact through the Covid-19 pandemic, enabling the production of webinars and a documentary about being trans and deaf, with the aim to help provide members with social opportunities and a change to feed into the organisations future.

Drop Zone Youth Projects Expand

Awarded £2668 to enable Furness LGBT+ youth group to continue running it's weekly group, in response to increased need due to the impact of covid.

Free2B Alliance Expand

£3700 was awarded for room hire and PPE equipment (masks, cleaning supplies etc) to enable one to one work with LGBTQ young people to continue.

Hidayah LGBTQI+ Expand

Awarded £6000 for trustee and volunteer development for a charity focused on LGBTQI+ Muslims to increase capacity to meet increased demand and complexity of needs supported due to Covid-19.

 

LEAP Sports Scotland Expand

Awarded a £10000 grant towards a key staff post within LEAP Sports Scotland, in response to covid and the impact it has had on LGBT communities.

Living Free CIC Expand

Awarded £5000 funding for counselling sessions for Black LGBT+ people and monthly food parcels.

 

Micro Rainbow CIC Expand

£5000 was awarded for emergency accommodation for homeless LGBTI migrants who are unable to access public funds.

Off The Record (Bristol) Expand

£10000 was awarded for specialist counselling support for LGBT+ young people in Bristol and South Gloucestershire, in response to increased demand due to covid.

Positively UK Expand

£9912 was awarded for workshops and podcasts, based on topics identified through consultation with LGBTQ+ people living with HIV.

Rainbow Foundation Expand

£2900 was awarded towards improving mental health among LGBT+ people.

SAYiT Expand

£9329 was awarded to help increase youth worker capacity to enable continued delivery of LGBT+ youth groups, specialist SEND provision and one to one support for young people.

Awarded £5000 towards volunteer equipment and running costs including support towards running the second annual "Juice1038 Mental Health Month."

Awarded £9685 towards a series of online workshops aimed at LGBT+ people whose employment has been impacted by covid, with the aim of boosting confidence and wellbeing.

Marlborough Theatre Productions Expand

Awarded £5000 towards Radical Rhizomes project, a programme of social gatherings and community development by and for queer, trans and intersex people of colour (QTIPoC) in Brighton and Hove.

Middle Eastern Women and Society Organization Expand

Awarded £4929 towards support for Middle Eastern LBTQ+ women experiencing mental health issues and isolation resulting from the lockdown along with digital art therapy classes.

Opening Doors London Expand

Awarded £9980 to expand a tele-friending support service connecting isolated older LGBT+ people with telephone befriender volunteers.

Pride in North Cumbria Expand

£4830 towards development of a community garden project to enable LGBT+ people of all ages to safely meet while safely distancing and get involved with community gardening.

 

Rainbow Home (North East) Expand

Awarded £5000 for food parcels and covid safety equipment, along with activity resource packs for LGBT+ asylum seekers.

Sport4Health Expand

Awarded £4,940 towards weekly, socially distanced Badminton sessions for older LGBT+ people to help lessen the impact covid has had on their already established badminton group.

Awarded £7233 to increase the capacity of the youth work team, in response to increased demand for services and support from young people, due to covid.

UK Lesbian and Gay Immigration Group Expand

Awarded £4914 towards laptops to enable workers to continue to deliver their work with LGBT+ asylum seekers and refugees, both remotely and securely.

Bi Pride UK Expand

Awarded £858 in core funding towards difficult to fund essential costs of a charity impacted by loss of income as a result of Covid-19.

House of Rainbow Expand

£13,000 for online sessions and webinars for BAME LGBTQ people of faith during lockdown/coronavirus.

National Eisteddfod of Wales Expand

£5,000 to create high-quality multi-genre content for LGBT+ people in the Welsh language to help tackle isolation and mental/social wellbeing during the coronavirus pandemic.

Pride Cymru Expand

£2,268 for Zoom and to provide BSL interpretations/closed captioning for digital events.

TransgenderNI Expand

£10,000 in core funding to enable a focus on support work during the pandemic.

Cathays and Central Youth and Community Project Expand

£3,004 for a digital youth worker to run Impact Youth Group sessions online, and help create and send out activity packages to young people during the pandemic.

Leeds LGBT+ Book Club Expand

£257 to towards enabling this monthly LGBT+ book club to continue meeting online.

NAZ Project London Expand

£3,000 spoken word events, platforming women and non binary people of colour, and writing workshops for BAME LGBTQI people.

QueerSpace Expand

£3,200 to enhance the virtual drop-in attended by around 25 members, including a mental health sessions and social groups.

 

GISDA Expand

£3,500 for an LGBTQ+ club for young people in Pwllheli, Wales.

 

LGBT Youth Scotland Expand

£5,000 towards a digital youth work service and an online learning service, in response to lockdowns preventing face to face groups.

Pink Saltire Expand

£5,000 towards increased hours for the Community Engagement Worker to enable them to reach more LGBT+ people facing hardship due to coronavirus.

Stonewall Cymru Expand

£600 to ensure the LGBTQI+ Wales Forum is accessible for those with access needs. Funding will be spent on BSL interpreters for meetings to accommodate members' needs.
