Wolverhampton LGBT+

WLGBT-1 with website-62b93820

Set up in 2016, Wolverhampton LGBT+ (formally known at Wolverhampton LGBT+ Alliance) was established to forward inclusion for members of the LGBT+ community within Wolverhampton and the Black Country.

It brought together over 15 different organisations to discuss local issues, look at increasing inclusivity within the city and develop ideas to make Wolverhampton welcome to all.

Today Wolverhampton LGBT+ (WLGBT+) involves over 30 local organisations who attend bi-monthly meetings to discuss plans to forward the charity and develop services to make Wolverhampton not only inclusive but safe and welcoming to members of the LGBT+ community. WLGBT+ has a board of dedicated trustees and Chairs whom are passionate to make Wolverhampton a truly inclusive city which welcomes all. Being awarded charity status in March 2021 means that WLGBT+ can expand its impact and support more local residents.
