United Pride Friends

United pride friends is a community organisation for those with autism and learning difficulties who recognise as LGBTQ+.

We work hard providing a service for our members and spreading awareness in the community. We provide safe spaces for vulnerable adults, group discussions and workshops, as well as supporting our members attending events such as pride and local outdoor social meet ups. The services we provide tackle issues such as loneliness and isolation, hate crime, homophobia and discrimination and equality for our members.

We have been running for over 2 years and continue to grow and support our users with a private Facebook group as well as a website and various promotional materials. We have been holding online webinars during lockdown and provided support for those struggling with the difficulties faced with the current pandemic. We also provide free prize giveaways and fundraise for our organisation in order to provide our group with social safe space meet ups.
