TransSober is a new community peer support group that has been set up and will run a weekly drop in every Monday from 6pm to 7:30pm (excluding bank holidays). It will be hosted at the new Trans Pride Centre in James Street, Brighton.

The group will be facilitated by people from the Trans and Non Binary community. The facilitators have real life experiences of drug and alcohol use and now live a sober lifestyle.

The purpose of the group is to have weekly support that people can build into their routine. A place where Trans and Nonbinary people can come together in a safe nonjudgemental space. To support each other and share their experiences of becoming sober and sustaining life without drugs and alcohol. No matter how big or small their problem is, they will be welcome to this group
