Transilience is a Community Interest Company (CIC) that aims to improve education and training surrounding LGBTQ+ identity in North Devon and beyond. We work with both statutory and voluntary services providing bespoke training and consultation on LGBTQ+ issues and healthy relationships.

We champion young LGBTQ+ people and their support systems through improving the knowledge and understanding of professionals and the community. We aim to provide training and consultancy for professionals and support and education for young people and their loved ones.

We feel that by providing training to partner colleagues and offering the right support at the right time, we can aim to reduce the number of young people that are experiencing mental health crisis, homelessness, drug and alcohol dependency, and family breakdown due to miscommunication and a lack of acceptance.

Through education and communication support, we aim to strengthen relationships between young people and their support networks, bringing resilience to relationships made fragile through misunderstanding. We believe that every young person should be supported in their journey to self-discovery.
