The Syncing Violets

We are a London-based queer women’s a cappella vocal group, set up in 2019 by Creator, Director and Performer, Lara de Belder. Our first full performance was in April 2019 at London Vocal League’s Club A Cappella at The Other Palace in Victoria, and we’ve also made appearances at Pizza Express Live Chelsea and Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club.

With unique original arrangements, often with a comic twist, The Syncing Violets aim to showcase, promote and support queer women and vocal music combined. Most members of the group are professional performers (singers and actors), and the group aims to develop and perform more regularly at various festivals and showcases nationally, including their own concerts, and collaborate with other groups and artists to nurture a bigger voice and celebration of queer women in the Arts.
