The Rainbow Project (South Yorkshire)

TRP logo

The Rainbow Project is a Rotherham-based voluntary organisation, serving the LGBT+ community across South Yorkshire. We work with other voluntary sector partners and local public services to create an environment in South Yorkshire in which all LGBT+ people feel safe, valued and supported and are able to fulfill their full potential.

Since October 2018, we have been delivering a 12 month National Lottery Awards for All funded health and wellbeing project within the LGBT+ community, employing a part time coordinator to manage this provision.

Activities include walking football, fitness classes, dance classes, cookery classes and guided walks. We also continue with our regular programme of events and partnerships with other local groups, as well as peer support groups and Saturday socials.
