The Open Minds Project is named after the Open Minds peer support group which started in London in 2019 as a group for Punjabi LGBTQ+ people. It became The Open Minds Project in 2020 and aims to connect Punjabi LGBTQ+ people across the UK and internationally, and to contribute to co-creating safer spaces for them in Punjabi cultures and communities.
