The Hive LGBT+ Centre is a newly formed charity and have big ambitions to improve the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in Fife through the development of activities and services based at our new dedicated safe space in Kirkcaldy.

Our charitable objectives are:

• The promotion of equality and diversity in Fife.
• The advancement of citizenship and community development for and by LGBT+ people in Fife.
• The advancement of LGBT+ arts, heritage and culture in Fife.
• The relief of emotional, physical or mental hardship for LGBT+ people in Fife.

Now, with 10,000 sq ft of space in the heart of one of Fife’s biggest towns, the community has a base from which to grow and develop over time. The Hive will be a safe haven from abuse and discrimination and a beacon of hope for those who face hardship and stigma in Fife.

Facilities include hot desks for people who need somewhere to work or study, meeting rooms, a mental health suite, soft seating areas, exhibition space and recording studios.
