We are a locally run and locally funded CIC aimed at providing support for members of the LGBTQ+ community in our area. We organise a Pride event each year with a special emphasis on creating a family friendly environment with safe spaces for children, youth, and the disabled. Additionally, we have been integrated into a local college’s curriculum, allowing students to help coordinate our social media presence and assist in organising Pride as part of their coursework. We have also launched highly requested support groups that provide members of the LGBTQ+ community with a safe space to discuss challenges they are facing, as well as provide access to valuable information and resources. We are currently working with a local secondary school to create a youth-only support group to be held on their premises after school hours.
