“Sheppey is Ours!” is a queer, disabled and neurodivergent lead community organisation that hopes to build a more intersectional Isle of Sheppey. We believe Sheppey should belong to everyone who calls the island home, no matter where they’re originally from. We want to help people claim their right to where they live.

While we have done work with national organisations, it’s time to bring things back to the local level. We do this through art projects, social groups, educational seminars and environmentalist activism. We want to build a Sheppey that feels like it belongs to people, and that feels like people belong here.
