SAGE (Staffordshire)

The name of the group shall be Sexuality And Gender Empowerment “SAGE (Staffordshire)”

The aim of the group shall be to “To support people who identify as LGB&T+ (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Trans Plus any others that are questioning their Gender or Sexuality this could be other Sexualities or Genders), we also aim to support family and friends of people who are LGB&T+ or questioning either or both their Gender or Sexuality.

The above aims will be providing support via 1-1 support either in schools, colleges etc or other suitable places, we also aim to hold group support this would be for either under 16-year olds support, 16-25 and 25+ support, and family and friends as well as making good use of relevant social media.

SAGE Staffordshire will also be available to schools or other business or organisations whether it be looking at policy and procedures, providing support within the school as well as their students in the form of 1-1 or lesson design.

SAGE is willing and already working with other service providers and if needs be part of a multi-disciplinary team.
