Proud History Champions, Museum of London LGBTQ Network

Proud History Champions_MOL-d8edae9e

We are Proud History Champions, the staff LGBTQ+ network, formed by role models and allies across the Museum of London.

As a network we aim to be: Supportive, Visible, and Informative

We aim to be supportive to individuals and the LGBTQ+ community in the organisation. Create more visibility of LGBTQ+ topics, content and history for staff and seek to advise on future content, displays. Whilst working to help foster an inclusive work environment. We are a group of Role-models and Allies:

Role-models: Role Models are those who openly identify as LGBTQ+.  Role models are crucial to creating inclusive workplaces and to advancing equality for all staff.  They aim to influence others and create positive change no matter what their role in an organisation or community.

Allies: Allies are individuals who are not or do not wish to openly identify as LGBTQ+ and are supportive of the aims of the Network . Allies have a critical role to play in creating inclusive environments and are key to advancing fair treatment for their LGBTQ+ family, friends and colleagues.
