People’s Pride Southampton is a charity that was registered on October 2020, we started as a community group in 2019 we have been providing support, outreach stalls, pride events, such as Party In The Park, Trans Pride Southampton and many more over the past few years.

We now offer all year round, support and outreach pride merch stalls, inclusive and accessible events, community and charity equipment hire, training, social events and much more besides.

We are a small collective of LGBTQ+ people and their allies trying to change things for the better, trying to create a community with true cohesion. Not only among the LGBTQ+ community but through the community as a whole!.

We are here to buck the trend of Pride organisations that seem to have a primary focus on money, controlling diversity, corporate sponsorship etc.

We actively work with and integrate disabled, neurodiverse, bame community members, and Trans community members because all too often these sectors of society are not thought about, be it in the mainstream or the LGBT+ community.

The way we see things is that through education, support, and much more we can slowly create a community where LGBTQ+ people and non LGBTQ+ people can live side by side in harmony and fully integrate into society.
