Outreach youth LGBTQ+ – supports and works with young people across Suffolk, under 25 years, who are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans*, Queer or Questioning their sexuality and/or Gender Identity.
We provide free and confidential Youth Groups for young people under 19, who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual,Trans*, Queer or Questioning (including those who are not sure or are questioning their sexuality or gender) – to meet other LGBTQ young people, access support and information, take part in activities and have a safe space to be themselves.
Our LGBTQ+ Youth Groups are great places to meet up with other young LGBTQ+ people, where you can chill-out, socialise, access support and information and to meet other people plus take part in fun and rewarding activities, campaigns and visits – there are also opportunities to get involved through our LGBTQ+ Participation group.
Our Youth Groups currently meet in Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds
We have an online U-16 Trans* youth group, and are currently develop our #BLM Community Conversations with Black LGBT*Q+ young people and an online group for young Queer men.
Our Trans* Families group – meets monthly – offering a safe supportive space for children and young people – while offering a peer support group for parents.
We offer one-to-one support to young LGBTQ+ people who do not feel able or ready to access our Youth Groups.
We also work with Schools, Colleges, Early Help teams, Social Care, Youth Offending and Emotional Well Being services – to ensure the needs of young LGBT*Q+ people are supported and met.
