Leeds LGBT+ Book Club is a Leeds based (currently virtual) book club focusing on LGBT+ themed literature that is discussed at our monthly meet ups. From this, Leeds LGBT+ Literature Festival has grown. The Lit Fest has been running since our first festival event in 2018 and has continued to run virtual events during the pandemic. We platform and celebrate the work of LGBT+ authors or literature for example, but not limited to, book signings, talks, workshops and literature festivals.
Though there is an overall focus on LGBT+ literature, we work hard to platform and support marginalised communities within our community.
