Good Night Out Campaign is on a mission for safer nightlife. We believe nights out should be about fun and freedom, not fear. We help nightlife spaces and organisations to better understand, respond to, and prevent sexual harassment and assault, through specialist training, policy support and an accreditation programme.

Good Night Out began in 2014, initially as a campaign of Hollaback London. We helped London’s iconic fabric to create the first ever nightclub anti-sexual harassment policy and never looked back. We help licensed spaces to upskill their teams and deliver specialist, interactive workshops to bar staff, managers, and security.

We help local authorities to develop sexual violence prevention and response campaigns, and partner with frontline support services around the UK and beyond. In London we developed and delivered Women’s Safety Charters for Southwark and Greenwich councils, and Hackney’s mythbusting #ReframeTheNight campaign, seen on billboards across the borough. We wrote the #OktoAsk bystander toolkit for Drinkaware and act as specialist consultants for London City Hall’s Night Czar.

Good Night Out Campaign aims are to create safer and more inclusive nightlife for women, LGBTQ+ & gender non-conforming people. We up-skill workers & challenge the societal myths that condone sexual violence. Our training covers LGBTQ+, disability, racism & harassment and how these are experienced at once, not separately and how different types of abuse after enacted after disinterest is shown.
