Chrysalis Transsexual Support Groups is a support, advocacy, and education organisation with meetings across the North West. All gender variations are welcome, not just transsexuals. We also welcome pre-transition people, as this is the most vulnerable and questioning time. Friends and supporters, again of any gender, are welcome. We run a Trans Hate Crime Third Party Reporting Centre, 07388 678258 9am-6pm, and [email protected] 24/7 Provide advocacy and support to Trans people in visits to Gender Clinics, visits to doctors, problems with employers, et al; Give free presentations, workshops and training on Trans Awareness, Trans Endocrinology, Gender Surgery, Hate Crime, Justice, etc. to surgeries, hospitals, councils, colleges, schools, institutions, prisons, and businesses anywhere in the country; Referral organisation for Children’s Services; Consultant on Trans policies and procedures to colleges, organisations, councils, etc.; Director of Lancashire Equalities Organisation; Governor of Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust; Affiliate organisation of Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust; Member of Blackpool Teaching Hospitals, Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals, Tavistock and Portman, Leeds and York, and Cumbria Partnership, NHS Foundation Trusts; ASIST and safeTALK Suicide Intervention and First Aid; Mental Health First Aider; Headquarters liaison for Transgender work and policy of Lancashire Constabulary; Member of the Lancashire Constabulary Trans and Gender Diverse Action Group; Member of the Lancashire Constabulary Record 4 Victims Team; Member of the Crown Prosecution Service LGB&T Scrutiny Panel; Associate Lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire; Member of the LGBT Consortium; Consultant on setting up Trans support groups
