Andro and Eve create unique, feel good events that celebrate queer culture. Our programming often focuses on voices that are otherwise marginalised, to reflect and celebrate the diversity that exists within the LGBTQIA community. Our approach is playful, creative, and motivated by a desire to provide accessible opportunities for the community to come together, develop their understanding, and share in memorable experiences.
We are the creators of Yorkshire’s biggest Drag King cabaret, The Kingdom Come, showcasing drag king talent from across the UK, and queer cabaret A Reyt Queer Do, which features some of the most exciting queer performance, comedy and music, as well as providing a platform for emerging talent. Our talent development strand also includes drag king workshops, delivered online and in person.
We help people develop their own creativity, skills and talents, and opportunities that empower people to embrace their full selves. Other creative opportunities have included the publication of a zine, Centre, featuring voices of LGBTQ+ people from across the North of England, and online Gender Exploration workshops, for those wanting to explore their own gender.
We deliver Gender Awareness Training for organisations, enabling teams to better serve and meet the needs of clients and customers of all genders. Drawing upon our extensive experience in meeting the needs of the LGBTQIA community in creating safe and inclusive events, this session covers terminology, best practice and practical exercises to develop understanding.
