Artist Development:
Ajamu Studios is a fresh creative endeavour initiated by Ajamu: fine art photographer, archive curator and academic. The studio aims to serve predominantly Black and LGBTQ+, gender non-conforming, non-binary and differently-abled photographers /creatives and lens-based media artists. The studio/hire space a physical community space is at the heart of this venture, which will nurture ideas in progress and artistic projects, provide networking opportunities, workshops, masterclasses and artists’ talks.
