This is an exciting new job opportunity to join our dynamic and committed team. elop’s youth mentoring service is about to embark on an exciting new journey as we expand our current service and widen our offer for 12-24year olds, as part of the Mayor’s New Deal for Young People mission.

As LGBTQ+ Young Peoples Mentor you will have a key role in our youth service ensuring:

  • delivery of high-quality mentoring as guided by the Mentoring Quality Framework;
  • coordinate & deliver our youth mentoring programme, including administration, promotion, new referral assessments, 1:1 mentoring, record keeping, monitoring, & evaluation;
  • establish a new youth reference group of young LGBTQ+ people to input new ideas for service development;
  • create new & innovative mentoring tools & resources to enhance our resource library;
  • induct, train, & support volunteer mentors;
  • and work alongside senior staff to support sustainable service development.

 

Initially you will be working remotely via home-based working whilst elop relocates its offices & centre transitioning back to full time in-person working & service provision during 2023.


Full Time: 37 hours per week There will be one regular evening/ week and occasional weekend working required.

Salary: £25,375 incl. London Weighting, funded until 31st March 2025.
