Funding priority

The Manchester Pride Community Grant programme supports two goals: ‘to celebrate LGBT+ life’ and ‘to engage LGBT+ people through culture,’ specifically in Greater Manchester.

Your application should detail how your community group, organisation, project, event or initiative can:

  • Contribute to a thriving LGBT+ culture where people feel valued, accepted and engaged
  • Provide a safe, welcoming space that embraces diversity and challenges prejudice and discrimination
  • Educate the wider community about equality and diversity
  • Benefit all members of the community regardless of age, race, gender, religion and belief, disability, sex and sexual orientation (Marriage and civil partnership, Pregnancy and Maternity)
