Grants fall under the following headings:
See website for examples of the types of projects they fund under each area.
Rolling, though for Major grants you'll be given date of trustee meeting after applying
Charitable trust or foundation
The Foundation is only able to support UK registered charities and CIOs (Charitable Incorporated Organisations) working within the UK. Your income must be over £5000 per year.
They do not make grants for specific salaries / jobs, but will contribute to salary costs as part of project overhead costs.
Regular grants are under £100,000. Major grants are over £100,000.
The types of grant, whatever their size, tend to fall into one of three categories – Capital (i.e. buildings and equipment), Revenue (often called ‘core costs’) and Project work. The most important thing is that you apply for what you need most as this will be your priority and therefore the most compelling for the Trustees.
They provide unrestricted grants, to help fund core costs.
Apply online. Read their application guidance carefully before applying.
