Grant details

Regular grants are under £100,000. Major grants are over £100,000.

The types of grant, whatever their size, tend to fall into one of three categories – Capital (i.e. buildings and equipment), Revenue (often called ‘core costs’) and Project work.  The most important thing is that you apply for what you need most as this will be your priority and therefore the most compelling for the Trustees.

They provide unrestricted grants, to help fund core costs.

Size of grant

  1. Large (£50,000 and up)
  2. Medium (£10,000 - £50,000)
  3. Small (£1 - £10,000)
