Understanding and reflecting the experiences of LGBTQ+ people with disabilities – Digital Workshop
International Day of People with Disabilites is an important date in December. Use it is an opportunity to understand and reflect on the experiences of LGBTQ+ people with disabilities.
There remains a distinct lack of understanding about the experiences of people who are both LGBTQ+ and disabled. This means that many workplaces are not accessible to or cannot retain talented people and create space for them to achieve their potential. This session, held on the week of International Day of People with Disabilities will help you better understand the experiences of LBGTQ+ people with disabilities in order to confidently ensure that your work reflects and celebrates the community.

These sessions will run via Zoom with up to 50 delegates. There will be smaller break-out rooms for delegates to complete optional discussion activities. Here is a link to the accessibility features Zoom offers.
