Sunday Social

Join us to create a short video to raise awareness of mental health in the LGBTQ+ community. During the summer we asked the questions: “What does mental health look like?” “How does poor mental health feel?” as we looked at how mental health can be shown in film. Now we are moving into the next phase and attempting to visualise some of the ideas that people shared with us. And we need your help! We are looking for people who can join us for a short programme of sociable workshops. The four weekly workshops run from Sunday 26th Nov to Sunday 17th Nov, 2.30pm – 4.30pm in the lovely surroundings of Greenwich’s National Maritime Museum.

These workshops are designed to be informal and sociable so you do not need to have any previous experience, and only need to get as involved as you want to. During the workshops we will be discussing how mental health is portrayed on film and experimenting with lo-fi video techniques to visualise the impact of mental health. The material we create will be edited into a short video campaign promoting self-care strategies and signposting further support for anyone affected.

Join us to meet new people and take part in a fun creative activity.

Its free.
There will be refreshments

And you can exercise your creative mind!
