Navigating the creative industries and media sector as an LGBTQ+ person: an evening of discussion and networking

Brought to you by the School of Communication & Creativity at City, University of London in partnership with the LGBTQ+ Journalism Network

The event will feature a roundtable discussion focused on accessing – and working in – the creative industries and media sector as an LGBTQ+ person, and how stories of LGBTQ+ experience can be told in these spaces, alongside time to network with fellow professionals and students.

Speakers include Sophie Perry (LGBTQ+ Journalism Network), Alim Kheraj (music, culture and LGBT writer & author of Queer London) and Nemo Martin (award-winning script writer and creator of Asian Pirate Musical).

We would love to have you attend as this would be a fantastic opportunity for our students to meet a professional in the industry with your experience, as well as a unique chance to bring professionals together from different sectors to network with each other.
