Why a clothes swap?

If clearing out your old wardrobe, exploring your style or just fancy something new clothes swaps are great for each other and the environment.

How it works

Bring your old clothes, shoes, accessories and unopened toiletries. For each item you bring you’ll get a token to swap it for another item. If you don’t have anything to swap, don’t worry! You can make a financial donation to The Hive instead.

More than just a Clothes Swap

We have asked for some specialists to join us. We hope to have a stylist, hairdresser, make-up artist and bra fitter on site to help with finding your new clothes. Keep your eyes peeled on social media for updates.

There will be a financial planner from True Self Wealth Ltd, a specialist in LGBTQ+ Financial Planning, who is happy to answer any questions you might have about money.

OutBritain is the UK’s first LGBT Chamber of Commerce. They’ll be there to chat about whether you’re setting up a business or want to connect your business with others.

Allies are welcome so bring your partners, friends and family.

We have pop-up changing rooms, and mirrors for trying things on.

The event is run by the Trans Support Hub with sponsorship from True Self Wealth Ltd and OutBritain.

This is a free event, The Hive have let us have use of their venue for free. The Trans Support Hub thanks them from the bottom of our hearts for that! We will be collecting cash donations for The Hive so that they can carry on their work supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
