We are delighted to invite you to our launch of Gay Bowling and Ping Pong Party at Brewdog Waterloo.

If you wish to bowl please purchase a ticket in advance, as bowling spaces are limited to a maximum of 48 bowling participants. Tickets are £13.50 per person and includes the ping pong party and regular table tennis too at no extra cost, which start after bowling.

If you do not wish to bowl or will be arriving later into the event, the ping pong party and regular table tennis commences around 6pm. The fee is £4.50 per person and can be paid upon arrival when checking in with us. We accept card, contactless and cash.

DETAILS:

We have exclusive use of the bowling lanes at Brewdog Waterloo, followed by exclusive use of the Table Tennis lounge at the same venue.

Two bowling games are INCLUDED in the ticket price.

So, join us for a not-to-be-missed Sunday afternoon – with great bowling, ping pong, socialising and even an adult slide, with additional options of drinks and delicious food!

ARRIVALS:

Please arrive between 3.30pm and 3.45pm to check-in. We will have a dedicated check-in area opposite the main bar on the lower level. You will be greeted by members of the GaySocial team, who will check you in and make sure you are all set for the event. You do not need to show a ticket, as we will have a guestlist printed.

Bowling commences promptly at 4pm, so everyone needs to be lane-ready by that time. You bowl in your own footwear.

BOWLING:

Brewdog Waterloo provide Duckpin Bowling, which is similar to, but not the same as, Tenpin bowling. Duckpin bowling has smaller pins and lighter balls, making it a fun, fast-paced game.

The ticket price includes 2x bowling games per person which will be consecutive games.

You will get to bowl with other friendly gay guys in an attitude-free and clique-free group. It will be a great opportunity to socialise, have fun and make some new friends!

PING PONG PARTY & TABLE TENNIS:

Once bowling is finished, we will relocate to the in-house Tennis table lounge. We will have an experienced Ping Pong games guru, who will be running fun and quirky Ping Pong party games; such as round the world, tornado and target.

In addition, we will also have other tables available that will not be hosted, and can be used for more regular table tennis.

IF YOU ARE NEW….

If you’re new, then you are very welcome to come along and join! Just buy a ticket and find us in the venue on the night and you’ll receive a warm welcome!

Your bowling ability, or lack of it, is not something to be embarrassed about when joining us, as we mainly play for fun, to have a laugh and to be social.

JOIN US…

…ON YOUR OWN: Don’t be worried about coming along on your own. You won’t be left feeling like billy-no-mates! We will make sure you’re in a group with others who, like you, found the courage to come along unaccompanied and join in the fun. On average, about 30% of our attendees at any of our events are newbies.

…WITH A FRIEND OR TWO OR MORE: Grab a friend or two and bring them along for a great evening out. We can make sure you bowl together – simply let us know at check-in when we put you on the bowling allocation list.

REFUND REQUESTS:

If you purchase a ticket, but wish to cancel your attendance and request a refund, we will accept requests up until midnight at the end of Friday 19th January 2024. Requests are to be submitted by email to: [email protected]
