GiveOut and Consortium are delighted to join forces with The Funding Network and Macquarie for a third year to host City for LGBT+.
This virtual live crowd funder brings together our community and corporate allies to support Consortium’s work with LGBT+ organisations across the United Kingdom through their grantmaking programmes, and two of GiveOut’s grant partners advancing LGBT+ rights worldwide.
This year we want to show our community’s support for LGBT+ refugees.
Join us on Wednesday 13th October at 6pm for an exciting evening where you’ll have the opportunity to make a difference to the lives of LGBT+ individuals and communities in the UK and around the world.

Consortium LGBT+ Futures Fund
Since 2019 Consortium is delighted to have received funding to run several grants programmes for the LGBT+ sector.
Thanks to the generosity of our partners and donors we have distributed over £997,000 in onward grants to diverse LGBT+ organisations from across the UK. With your support we can continue to build on these successes, reaching more organisations and supporting our communities to grow, develop and thrive.
Our LGBT+ communities deliver incredible opportunities and results, yet it remains a constant challenge for all LGBT+ organisations to balance out the need for dedicated fundraising time whilst trying to deliver core services. Through our unique position as the infrastructure body for LGBT+ voluntary and community groups, Consortium is proud to deliver vital onward grants to LGBT+ causes, helping organisations to thrive and deliver the services and support our communities need.

Charity testimonials from previous events
J-FLAG are the oldest and largest human rights and social justice organisation in Jamaica, advocating for the rights, livelihood and well-being of LGBT+ people.
City 4 LGBT+ donations from 2019 were used to help cover the restoration of J-FLAG’s operations after a fire at Rainbow House, where their offices and a community centre were based.
Rainbow House is the epicentre of the Jamaican LGBTQ movement, the base of J-FLAG operations as well as three other crucial LGBTQI organisations in Jamaica. Here the organisations can come together to think, plan and convene.
“Rainbow House represents a safe space for members of the community to connect, share experiences, create art and build the sense of fellowship which is lacking as well as get access to critical support.”
