I am ENOUGH – Free Workshop for the LGBTQ+ Community

7th April 2021 by Learnest

If you’re feeling overwhelmed or inadequate, this workshop is for you. This is a space to find the positives & unlock your inner leader.

In the face of a challenging world, it is hard sometimes to feel enough. There is just so much to learn, achieve and to overcome to make sure our communities are protected, supported and allowed to thrive. It is hard to feel that we can meet all these demands – serve the full diversity of our communities with knowledge and understanding, provide all the support that is required, know exactly how and when to fight for more acceptance.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed or inadequate in the face of this, this workshop is for you. This is a space to find the positives in our imperfections, learn that we are enough even when at times we fail, and most importantly see the value in vulnerability and owning our mistakes.

Hosted by SAM HOPE – non-binary & bisexual activist, trainer and therapist. Sam has experience working with LGBTIQA+ individuals in a number of capacities for many years. Through Sam’s work, they have gained a rooted appreciation of oppression and minority stress and built links to many communities across the world.

Rain Beau’s End – Premiere Watch Party

8th March 2021 by LesFlicks

To celebrate the global release of Rain Beau’s End we are hosting a Watch Party at 5:30 PM GMT before the Livestreamed Q&A at 8 PM GMT with cast and creators!

This will give you the opportunity to watch the film beforehand and get a better understanding of the film. We hope to create a seamless viewing experience of watching the film and Q+A back-to-back, recreating the experience of an IRL Premiere as much as we can in current circumstances.

This watch party will be hosted by Lesflicks Founder, Naomi Bennett! We are so excited about the release of this film and we hope you can’t wait too!

Rain Beau’s End Synopsis:
When a prominent, progressive lesbian couple adopts a child mislabelled with a genetic predisposition for violence, they must face the ghosts of their past and contend with their hard-line stance on acceptance. Will they stand for their values while trying to raise a loving family in the spotlight?
