Thanks to the National Emergencies Trust, a total funding pot of £350,000 has been made available to LGBT+ non-profit groups, organisations and projects across the UK. The funding is available to address the additional needs of LGBT+ people and communities most adversely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and to support and strengthen LGBT+ organisations that have been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
As part of this funding, we have ringfenced £30,000 of the funding for Northern Irish LGBT+ organisations and are keen to receive applications from organisations affected by Covid-19.
We want this funding to get where it is most needed. If your organisation needs additional support or guidance to be able to submit an application our Grants or Engagement teams can support you through the process. If you require things in different formats then please just let us know.
We have also partnered with Cara Friend and Adam Murray, Community Development Manager, is also available to actively support community organisations across Northern Ireland. You can contact Adam on email@example.com.
As the grants are awarded for immediate responses and support to organisations, individuals and communities in need as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, grants are for short-term work only and all funds awarded through the programme must be fully spent by 30 June 2021 (please note this is stated as 31st May in the guidance below but we have extended the delivery time for Northern Irish LGBT+ organisations).
For support with your application please email: firstname.lastname@example.org
