RAINBOW HEAD is an all inclusive group for young people supporting each other’s mental well-being and having fun. We are a safe space for people of all gender identities, sexual orientations and mental health difficulties.

Based in North London, we offer social spaces, 1:1 support and trips and excursions for 13-25’s, training for professionals working with young people, as well as having a theatre company that tours schools raising awareness about issues facing young people.

Our weekly social group takes place on Thursday evenings in the Finchley area. It’s an informal event for young people aged 13-25 who identify as LGBT, who are unsure, who have mental health difficulties or who are interested in these areas. Sessions are for meeting others with similar interests, struggles and experiences in a safe and welcoming environment through games, workshops and discussions. Young people who are interested in attending or finding out more should email spectrum @rainbowheadyouth.co.uk or private message us through one of our social media pages:

We also run regular days out, trips, and meet-ups outside of our regular group, particularly during school holidays. To register your interest or to find out about our next event, please get in touch at the details above.

We’re happy to meet young people 1:1 or with their key worker prior to joining our group should a young person be anxious or worried about attending for the first time.
