Young Greenwich Risk and Resilience Worker

Location: London
Closing Date: 24th May 2021
METRO (square)

Employment Type: Employed

We are looking for a reliable, creative and outgoing female worker to deliver an exciting project for those who identify as girls and young women in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. This position is only open to applicants who identify as female as the exemption in the Equality Act 2010 for requiring a worker with a particular protected characteristic applies (it is an occupational requirement for the work to be carried out and is a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim as the worker will be working one to one with girls in an all-female identifying space).

The overall aim of this project is to work closely with those who identify as girls and young women and facilitate positive changes in behaviour towards relationships, identify and gender. You will work with girls and young women through a programme of sessions that address: good communication, healthy relationships, consent, violence, gender roles, identity, and conflict resolution. Broader outcomes as a result will include reducing substance misuse and involvement in crime or risky behaviour.

Application deadline: 9.00am Monday 24th May 2021
