AAT, CIMA or CIPFA qualified Finance Manager.

Hours: 22.5 hours per week.

Salary: £36,371 to £42,614 per annum (pro rata)

Overall Aim:

Deliver Yorkshire MESMAC’s strategic priorities as part of the leadership team by providing sound financial systems and governance that creates stability, probity and a solid platform for growth.

Main Objectives:

  • As a member of the Senior Management Team work collaboratively to deliver our vision, mission and to model our values.
  • Develop and deploy a flexible forward-looking finance strategy for Yorkshire MESMAC maximising unrestricted income.
  • Lead the development of our financial systems and work to maximise the use of our resources to deliver as much value to our beneficiaries as possible.
  • Work with Senior Management colleagues to design compelling and credible funding bids.
  • Manage budgets and cash flow, income and expenditure accounts, financial ratios and statutory accounts.
  • To Establish and maintain efficient and effective systems, procedures and internal controls to prevent and detect financial and related risks reducing them to acceptable levels.

 

Contract is permanent. Salary is reviewed annually. There is a 5% workplace pension (on completion of probationary period). Yorkshire MESMAC operates a safer recruitment process and this post is subject to an Enhanced DBS with barred lists check.
