Tonic Housing opened the UK’s first LGBT+ retirement community in September 2021. As Head of Communications for Tonic you will play a pivotal role leading our communication, marketing and advocacy work. Working with the CEO and, at times, our Non-Exec Board Member leading on communications, you will be developing and delivering key communication outputs to our audiences including campaigns, reports, policy briefings, social media content, press releases/content, contribution to TV/radio shows and speaking engagements. You will also be involved in marketing to support the sale of our homes and events with our communities and customers. You will work in a small team reporting to the CEO. Freelance will be considered. This role is funded by Comic Relief, and the post holder will work with them directly on some communications. We are looking for a talented and experienced Communications professional who shares a passion for Tonic’s mission, with:
