Stonewall Housing works exclusively with LGBTQ+ people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and we have ambitious plans to help more people access specialist advice, support and accommodation. To help us achieve this we are looking for a Specialist LGBTQ+ Housing Advice and Advocacy Worker to join our team.
This role which will work with the team to provide specialist advice and advocacy to LGBTQ+ people of all ages who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or in insecure accommodation. You will help people understand their rights, identify the choices open to them and advocate on their behalf where necessary.
You must have a sound working knowledge of housing legislation, be able to understand the implications and communicate these clearly with service users and the professional network.
You must be passionate about making a difference to LGBTQ+ people who having housing needs and 100% committed to equal opportunities.
