The South London Stags are recruiting a volunteer to the post of Diversity and Inclusion Representative. This is an external vacancy to support our campaign to be the most inclusive club in South London. This role will support the club in its diversification of the membership as well as wider inclusive activities and events.
As this is a volunteer role, hours and remote working will be flexible. Attendance at some remote meetings will be essential.
Main Purpose of the Post:
As a Diversity and Inclusion Rep for the South London Stags RFU you will lead and be instrumental in developing the Clubs inclusive practice and diversity of membership. You will work with the Chair and the wider committee to create and implement plans to promote diversity within the Club. A significant part of the role is promoting and developing training programmes/campaigns to enhance the members understanding on inclusion issues and topics. The role will be active in building relationships within the Club and externally with other agencies to help review and enhance the Clubs working practices, policies and procedures to support the Club to be more inclusive.
