Job Description –
The charity SAYiT has been proudly supporting LGBT+ young people in Sheffield for over twenty years.
We are seeking a Training Officer who will be responsible for the coordination, management and delivery of training programmes underpinning the youth work which meets the objectives and targets within the charity. This is a key role within the charity, and an exciting opportunity to steer and shape the training of SAYiT staff, volunteers, clients, families, and the public, including community service and public sector organisations over the coming years.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing development of a suite of responsive and proactive training packages to support the objectives and targets of the charity working with LGBT+ young people. The role will involve scoping and developing strategic stakeholder relationships to develop and embed external training to enable improvements to the lives of LGBT+ young people.

Type of contract – 12 months fixed term, to be extended subject to funding
Hours – 22.5 fixed hours for 12 months in the first instance
Location – Based in our Sheffield office, with delivery primarily across South Yorkshire and Derbyshire
Salary – £26,190 Per Annum Pro Rata
Benefits – 7% Employer pension contribution and 30 days annual leave pro rata
