We provide social support groups for a number of under-represented groups including people living with dementia, concerns about memory loss or memory impairment or are looking after someone with dementia and other cognitive problems.

These groups provide a safe and supportive space to discuss the daily challenges faced by those living with dementia and carers, while providing an opportunity to connect with one another, share experiences, offer mutual support and find solidarity.

We are looking for people, ideally with prior knowledge about dementia through personal or professional experience.

•  to provide a warm welcome to members and initiate group discussion where appropriate;
•  to take notes for sharing with the group afterwards and for those unable to attend;
•  to liaise with any venue staff and maintain our working relationship with them;
• to help set-up and clear away at the end of each session where necessary.
