We’re looking for an LGBT criminal justice recovery worker to join a new project in our partnership with the City & Hackney Recovery Service. The service is led by Turning Point with London Friend and Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest.

The project is part of the Government’s ADDER Accelerator project, a multi-agency approach to reduce crime and improve access to drug treatment.

The postholder will be experienced in supporting LGBT people with complex drug and alcohol needs, including gay and bisexual men engaged in chemsex, and ideally have experience of working in, or an understanding of the criminal justice system. You will be delivering one to one and group treatment interventions to a caseload of clients in Hackney; supporting clients on release from custody and those handed community sentences; liaising with the Probation Service; and supporting a multi-agency approach locally in Hackney. You will also support the overall delivery of the Antidote service.

This is a full-time fixed term position to 31st March 2023.
