LGBT Foundation is looking for a Volunteer Manager to lead their volunteer programme and ensure volunteers have a positive, impactful and beneficial volunteering experience and to further support across the organisation from our volunteer community.

You will be responsible for delivering LGBT Foundation’s Volunteer Vision with its focus on the principles of ‘Recruit, Reward & Retain’ as part of our wider People Plan.

  1. Programme management: Responsibility for the effective management of the volunteer programme and its volunteers and staff.
  2. Developing community partner network: Grow and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and community partners both locally and nationally to support our community through volunteering.
  3. Volunteer Recruitment and Deployment: To ensure that there is sufficient volunteer resource for all activities across LGBT Foundation.
  4. Embedding volunteering: To ensure volunteering is embedded across the whole organisation, within our communities and other networks
  5. Volunteer support: Ensuring support is in place for volunteers and volunteer supervisors throughout their journey, ensuring they remain engaged and enthused whilst volunteering.

 

We are taking positive action to encourage applications from people of colour (PoC) and other racially minoritised communities, trans, non-binary and/or older people (aged 50+), to improve the representation of colleagues from these communities in our staff team.

Salary: £34,568
Hours: 37hrs per week
Special Terms: Full time, permanent
