Trustees Wanted For Dynamic LGBT+ Mental Health and Wellbeing Charity.

We are an exciting innovative LGBT+  mental health and wellbeing charity based in East London. elop was established around 1995 as a grass roots developed & community-led organisation with the aim to promote the mental health, wellbeing, empowerment & equality of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT+) communities. For 25 years elop has been providing information, advice, counselling & support services, plus other social and community activities & events to London’s LGBT+ communities. In addition to operating direct community frontline services ELOP also delivers second-tier work and provides information, training, consultancy & support to statutory & voluntary sector policy makers, managers, service providers & their staff teams.

We are interested in recruiting people who have experience or skills / knowledge in the following areas:

• Event & Individual Fundraising  – strategic and practical leadership on the generation of unrestricted income
• Equality and diversity
• Individuals with corporate or personal contacts and willingness to build networks on behalf of elop
• Strategic & Business Planning

 

and particularly welcome applications from people of colour, trans and non binary people to help us better reflect our communities.

Available Roles: 2 x Trustees.

Time commitment: Minimum of 8 – 12 hours per month including at least one monthly
meeting.

Duration of term: At least two years
