Opportunity for qualified or qualifying LGBT+ youth therapists in our busy individual therapy service supporting LGBTQ+ young people aged 14+ around their mental health and life difficulties. Our U18s are often referred by a parent or CAMHS worker when they need therapeutic support beyond the capacity of our Youth Out East young people’s service. The work can be challenging and changeable, but always rewarding. Offering a young person space to explore their identity alongside any wider life experiences with UPR is hugely validating and empowering for our young community, allowing them to feel seen, heard, understood, validated and celebrated in our gender and sexual identity. You will be supported in joining our team with an extensive induction, clear policies, guided practice and quality supervision. We also have an annual CPD programme offering training opportunities to enhance and develop your knowledge around key presenting issues for our community.
We particularly encourage applications from people of colour, trans and non binary people to help us best reflect our communities.
If you are interested in applying for a position, please email elop to request an application pack. This will have all the details you need including the supervision options available. For more information, email: [email protected]
