This is an exciting job opportunity to join a dynamic and committed team.  As a newly established position within our mental health service this role will offer  opportunity to work innovatively to create a vibrant programme of targeted physical & mental health support activities responsive to the mental health needs of GBT+ men.

Working alongside our wider staff team and volunteers you will create and deliver varied physical activity programmes centred on health and wellbeing, incl. strength, balance, endurance, and flexibility alongside mental health support sessions such as mindfulness, healthy sleep, and motivation.

You will have direct responsibility for delivery of these interventions, supporting and running   2 group activity sessions per week, plus where necessary undertaking some one-to-one mental health support sessions to enable individual participation.  The programme initiatives will enable you to engage, empower and support participants to positively develop, enhance and best manage their mental health, wellbeing, confidence, skills, and strategies to achieve & maintain successful health goals.

Part Time: 15 hours per week (initially for one year).

There will one regular evening and some weekend working required. Hours negotiable.

Salary: £9,750 (pro-rata of £24,050) incl. London Weighting.
