Switchboard’s Health and Inclusion Project (HIP) engages and consults with LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and non binary, and queer) people across Sussex with the aim of identifying and addressing inequalities and barriers to services.
The role involves identifying priorities that are of importance to LGBTQ people through a community-led approach, and supporting providers like the Council, NHS, Public Health and other charities and services to reflect and improve on their equity and inclusion practices.
This is a varied and interesting role which offers the opportunity to drive real change. We are looking for a dynamic individual with a good knowledge of the health and social care landscape and the confidence and resilience to facilitate workshops with a range of stakeholders and audiences, including senior decision makers.
