Leading the development and delivery of services across the areas of West Hampshire- the New Forest and Test Valley – this is an exciting opportunity to work with young people who identify as LGBTQ+ – Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and others or who are questioning their sexuality/ gender identity.

We are looking for someone to lead the team who is committed to young people and youth work, reliable, thorough, organised, flexible, and able to use their initiative and work within policies and procedures. This will include supervising assistant youth workers, volunteers and students. The Breakout Youth team offer a supportive environment, training, annual leave entitlement as well as other benefits. This position requires you to complete an enhanced DBS check and full references.

This role is partially funded by the National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund.

Hours: 25 hours per week, currently set as Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday evenings – open to change, with 28 days per annum annual leave (pro rata) plus bank holidays

Starting salary:  £14,123.65 per annum (SCP 9 £20,903 pro rata based on 37 hours FTE). This is a fixed term contract for 1 year
