HouseProud are the social housing sector’s professional LGBT+ network for colleagues and residents. We are a voluntary group and now have over 350 members across 75 housing organisations. Our aim is to be a forum for best practice, to support members with their professional development, influence Housing policy and to provide a network for those LGBT+ colleagues where not offered by employers. Improving service delivery for residents through our HouseProud Pledge scheme and continuing research is a vital area of our work.
We have an opening on our Committee for an Administrative Officer to support the Management Committee and the administration of our accreditation, the HouseProud Pledge scheme. The successful candidate will be someone who works within the social housing sector and who identifies as LGBT+. There is a requirement to attend 75% of the bi-monthly committee meetings and around four network events a year.
